Ask BambooHR is designed to handle the routine, high-volume questions that fill an HR team's inbox — queries about policies, leave balances, approvals and where to find information. By answering these directly within BambooHR, the assistant aims to give HR professionals more time for work that requires judgement and a personal touch.
For Irish, UK and European employers, any assistant that works with employee data sits squarely within GDPR. Grouper's advice to customers considering AI features is to understand what data is processed, where it is processed and on what legal basis before enabling them, and to weigh those features against the organisation's own data-protection policies.
